The Focus of a Course
In addition to categorising courses by subject area, NTUiTiV themes courses by their intended audience. Theming courses helps delegates and client organisations to choose the most appropriate course for them. It’s another example of The NTUiTiV Difference. We call this “the Focus” of a course, and we have 4 categories of focus: 1. Focus on the Specialist Some courses are designed for specialists in their subject area – for example a course on the “Desalination of Drinking Water”. 2. Focus on the Manager Some courses are designed for managers, people who lead functions or whole organisations. An example of such a course would be the “Development of a Proactive Cybersecurity Strategy”. 3. Spotlight Courses Some NTUiTiV courses are intended to provide a broad introduction to a subject, rather than to make someone a specialist in that field. An example would be a course dealing with “Managing with Stress in the Workplace”. 4. Focus on Hands-On Skills Finally, some of NTUiTiV’s courses involve significant hands-on activities, whether it’s the use of specialist software, or extensive simulation and roll-playing activities, or even the visiting of physical facilities or the actual programming of embedded microprocessors. Hands-on courses are another example of The NTUiTiV Difference. The focus of a course is indicated by a series of 4 tick-boxes beneath its title on the course outline, for example: Quite correctly, many of our courses fulfil more than one Focus, so you may well find that courses have more than one Focus box ticked on their course outline.Whether you’re an individual looking to advance your career, or an organisation aiming to empower your employees, our expertly designed training programs ensure measurable success and growth
